BBTimer – documentation

Usage of the BBTimer is very simple:

• Start the timer by clicking on the Play button (top left).
• When the timer is running, the Play button switches to a Pause button, which can be clicked to pause the timer; clicking on the Play button again will continue the timing.
• With the Reset button bottom left, the timing is stopped and the timer is reset to 00:00.00.
• In the text field designated by "dt[s]=...", a time interval can be entered. After dt seconds have passed, the timer will then produce a pinging sound. A change of the time interval takes effect as soon as the user clicks outside the text field.

Downloading: you can either use the timer online, or download these 2 links to your computer (right mouse button, "Save Link As..."; important: save both files in the same directory):

You will need the Macromedia Flash Player, Version 6 or better, to use the timer.

Sometimes it might be beneficial to use the timer (only the .swf file) with the stand alone-version of the Macromedia Flash Player (can be downloaded from somewhere at www.macromedia.com); this enables a better control of the timer size etc.
